Future Prospects

B.C.A. is an ideal course for IT savvy students. B.C.A. is a full time three year program in computer applications. The program covers the details of computer applications.
On completion of this programme, a student can undertake further studies in M.C.A., M.B.A., M.Sc. (IT), M.Sc. (C.S.) etc. Students can undertake live projects from industry, so as to enable them to develop capabilities to solve real life problems. Being a professional job oriented course, the students can have a lot of placements in the IT sector, banking sector, and B.P.O. sector, call centers etc.

Eligibility:

A student who has passed +2 of PSEB/CBSE or any other equivalent examination in any stream with at least 40% marks is eligible to join B.C.A.

B.Sc. Information Technology (Duration: 6 Semesters)

Eligibility:

Admission to Bachelor of Information Technology, course shall be open to a candidate who has passed 10+2 examination with 40% marks in aggregate from Punjab School Education Board or equivalent there to.

B.Sc. (Computer Science, Duration: 6 Semesters)

Future Prospects:

B.Sc. (Computer Science) is a three year degree program in computer service. The program covers the fundamentals of computer science along with stress on chemistry/physics and mathematics. On completion of this course students can undertake further studies in M.Sc. (Math), M.Sc. (Physics), M.Sc. (C.S.), M.Sc. (IT), M.Sc. (Chemistry) etc. The program also provides a very good placement opportunity to the students in various sectors.

B.COM. Part I/II/III(Bachelor of Commerce , Duration: 6 Semesters)

Future Prospects:

B.Com. (Regular) is a regular course of commerce stream. It provides information about financial cost and management accounting and prepares students for absorption in accounting related jobs. Knowledge of various labor laws, excise and sales tax laws is helpful for even those who decide to run their own business. This course has utility for those students who are looking to be in private sector, and those who want to be their own boss by setting up business or service industry.

Eligibility:

A student who has passed +2 examination of P.S.E.B. or any other equivalent examination in any stream with 50% marks in aggregate.

BBA Part I/II/III(Bachelor of Business Administration , Duration: 6 Semesters)

Future Prospects:

BBA is another very important professional course in commerce stream. It provides knowledge and skills for business administration. A lot of opportunities exist in corporate sector for business and administrators. BBA is also useful for the students aspiring to do MBA and establish themselves as managers.

Eligibility:

Admission to Bachelor in Business Administration first year shall be open to any person who has obtained 40% marks in aggregate in plus two examination (Senior Secondary System)in any group from the Punjab School Education Board / C.B.S.E. or any other examination recognized as equivalent thereto by the Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar.
